Hi at The CRAIC club. I’m starting with photography and got to try to capture the Moon in it’s full-size last Saturday over the Spanish Arch and river Corrib. Not easy, and as I’ve learned nearly impossible to catch the pic of the Moon in the night sky with all its beauty while maintaining its location featuring the city at night down on the ground. There is too much light reflected from the Moon thrown on the earth that the street lighting of the city is not noticeable when combined into one shot.   This year’s Macnas Galway Halloween parade ‘Port na bPúcaí’ pushes it’s way through Galway city centre’s Latin Quarter on Today, 29th of October at 5.30pm. This year’s parade celebrates the wonderful spirit of the West of Ireland. Hundreds of colourful Macnas performers will depart from outside the main gates of NUI Galway campus (no admission to college grounds) and move down University Road, across the Salmon Weir Bridge, turning right at the Town Hall Theatre, moving down Francis and Eglinton Streets, before turning at Brown Thomas to move down Shop Street and into the Latin Quarter, down High Street and Quay Street.
