IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2015 took place today, 16th February in Dublin. Galway was in prestigious public award poll represented by two venues located at the WestEnd of the town, Roisin Dubh and award winner from 2013 Monroe’s Live, who has won again. This Time is Monroe’s Live awarded The Best Live Music Venue of the Year 2015 in Connacht. Congratulation Monroe’s Live!

‘One Horse Pony’ have supported Blind Boys of Alabama, Jack L and Jerry Fish. The original acoustic blues formation from Cork is heading to Roisín Dubh,for their first gig in Galway, this February 27th. Last year, has Pony topped the iTunes Blues chart with our single ‘Staring Blues’. We performed at several major Irish festivals, including Electric Picnic and the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, as well as performing in some of Ireland’s top venues, including our monthly residency in Whelans, Dublin.
