A group of music artists come together tonight Saturday 13th October to show their support for the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins in the upcoming election. The line-up of presidential support includes Mary Coughlan, Alan Connor, Steve Wickham, Don Stiffe, Frank Kilkelly, Michelle Lally, Corina Carrick, members of the Stunning, Sean Smyth, Sean Regan, Cora Smyth, Breda Smyth, Eleanor Shanley, Tommy and Louise McCarthy and surprise guests.     Tickets are €20 or €12 for student/unwaged, with proceeds going towards Michael D. The weather has been so horribly bad for the last week it was simply impossible to do anything outdoors. I am not going to even mention a casual stroll with a camera in hand, not when there is a yellow weather warning for everyone to stay indoors and keep the shutters bolted.
