New MADRA mascot unveiled for 2018 Dogathon on May 27th

Press Release 22 May 2018   MADRA’s new mascot was unveiled to the public this week on the Salthill prom, in time for their 2018 ‘Paws on the Prom’ Dogathon, which takes place on Sunday, May 27th at 1pm. The event begins at the Claddagh and all money raised will go to the Connemara-based dog rescue and adoption charity. The mascot, who has yet to be named, will lead the way on Sunday, taking over 1,000 paws along the prom to Blackrock. Vote for Repeal | March in Galway 8th March 2018

It’s International Women’s Day 2018 and it was so exciting to watch the March for Repeal of the 8th Amendment today from the roof of Williamstreet in Galway city centre. PRO Choice Galway gathered couple of hundreds supporters of repeal on the Eyre Square, from there they took the March trough the city, to create even more awareness. Today we are closer than ever before to removing the 8th amendment from the Constitution and give the women of Ireland a freedom of choice about their own body and the quality of life of the future generations.
