Vote for Repeal | March in Galway 8th March 2018

It’s International Women’s Day 2018 and it was so exciting to watch the March for Repeal of the 8th Amendment today from the roof of Williamstreet in Galway city centre. PRO Choice Galway gathered couple of hundreds supporters of repeal on the Eyre Square, from there they took the March trough the city, to create even more awareness. Today we are closer than ever before to removing the 8th amendment from the Constitution and give the women of Ireland a freedom of choice about their own body and the quality of life of the future generations. We wish you were here too, there is still great CRAIC around Advertisements

Rabble-rousing, hook driven, Indie-Punk by The Clockworks, this Saturday in The Loft at Seven Bridge Street.

Galway brewed sound of The Clockworks is inspired by the immediacy and angsty fervour of bands like The Clash and The Libertines, as well as the observation and kitchen-sink storytelling of bands like The Smiths and The Streets. 2017 so far has given the band National radio playlisting for their 4 singles, a number of packed out gigs across the country and in London, and a storming set at Electric Picnic. Their Saturday gig in The Loft is promising to be great Craic. The Clockworks are sharing the night in the Loft with Dublin’s Fontaine who released their fresh new single just last Friday 6th October. Cover picture: The Clockworks as […]
