Vincent Holmes – Seven years married

Vincent Holmes was born in Dublin and has been living in Galway since 1978. He worked for the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht for more than 30 years. Vincent earned a Master’s Degree from National University of  Ireland, Galway. Over the years he has written short stories in Irish  that featured on Raidió na Gaeltachta’s Peann agus Pár programme, Comhar the Irish literary magazine and a miscellany  articles to both the Irish Times and Raidió na Gaeltachta. The theme of GTI Fashion Fiesta  2016 is “Culture Clash”. Monroe’s Live | The Best Live Music Venue in Connacht! | IMRO 2015

IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2015  took place today, 16th February in Dublin. Galway was in prestigious public award poll represented by two venues located at the WestEnd of the town, Roisin Dubh and award winner from 2013 Monroe’s Live, who has won again. This Time is Monroe’s Live awarded The Best Live Music Venue of the Year 2015 in Connacht. Congratulation Monroe’s Live!

Gales will develop widely, turning severe in the north, where some disruption is likely from this afternoon until Tuesday morning. Irish TV broadcasted their Christmas Show LIVE from Taylors Three Rock, Dublin 16, on Thursday, December 10th. The CRAIC in Galway was there to capture few stills for their after show media marketing.
