€1500 for Simon, success of Solaris and Pearla na Mara Fundraiser

A total of €1,500 was raised at the recent ‘Solaris Winter Warmer’ fundraiser in aid of Galway Simon Community to help those in need over the cold winter months. Guests were treated to a night of fantastic entertainment and delicious food organised by Solaris Tea, and hosted by Pearla na Mara restaurants, and the whole night was a great success. NUI Galway’s India Soc in association with the Indian Cultural and Sports Society (ICSC) Galway and with support from the University, celebrated Diwali – the Indian Festival of Lights on 14 November 2015, Saturday.
