Volunteer Galway call to Clean-Up city for the summer 2016

Press Release Volunteer Galway is calling on people to help put Galway City’s best face on for the summer.  Volunteers are being sought to help with the Big Big Clean Up on Sunday May 22nd from 12 noon.  Clean up teams will assemble in various locations around the city to help with litter picking, weeding and painting as part of the city’s Tidy Towns campaign.  The Big Big Clean Up was officially launched on Wednesday May 11th by Mayor Frank Fahey, and Councillor Niall Mc Nelis.   Community and residents organisations, sports clubs and businesses are also being encouraged to make a difference in their own local area during National Volunteering […]
