ALDI Opens new Knocknacarra store creating 20 new jobs

Aldi Stores (Ireland) today opened a new store in Knocknacarra, Co. Galway, creating 20 new jobs. The new store is Aldi’s ninth in Co. Galway. Aldi also opened a new store in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick today. The new stores bring the total number of Aldi Stores in Ireland to 122. To celebrate the opening of the new Knocknacarra store, customers were served with free tasty samples from Aldi’s Christmas range throughout the morning, while five lucky Aldi shoppers scooped €100 each in Aldi shopping vouchers. The Theatre Room Awards Showcase

“The Theatre Room” will showcase 6 original one-act plays in the Mick Lally Theatre this Saturday 21st November at 7pm. The plays – from local writers, directors and actors – have been developed as part of Druid’s FUEL Emerging Artist residency. They are: “Bold” by Ita Reddington, “Proper Opinions” by Luke Morgan, “Judge Fairy” by Tim Meaney, “Confession” by Lisanne Jacob, “Guilty Pleasure” by John Valters Paintner and “A. P.
