Galway City Roller Derby Open Day is taking place this Sunday, August the 27th in the Salthill-Knocknacarra GAA on Dr Mannix Road, Salthill. This is will be a free fun event where anyone over 18 years of age can come to try on skates and gear, to see if they would be interested in learning to skate and play roller derby. Skates and gear provided. Mouthguard’s required but some will be available to buy on the day if needed. NO previous experience required. Times: 5-7pm in The Aras GAA hall, Dr. Mannix Rd, Salthill. Foucan started what he termed “freerunning” in 2003, which he developed as a more inclusive form of parkour. Parkour’s development from military obstacle course training gives it and freerunning some aspects of a non-combative martial art.
