Performed by Frank Farrell, TURF searches for the tenderness through a fractured landscape. Sculpture, Installation, Performance, it explores not how to hold the TURF but how the TURF takes a hold of you. At the mercy of nature, the block waits to cut, to spread, to foot, when it moves it lives.
Rowan Tolley is a performer, director, creator and teacher, with over 25 years’ professional experience. He combines touring his highly acclaimed one man show with teaching, directing, devising in both theatre, film and television. Increasingly interested in the function of silence, he is a great believer in the element of risk for both performer and director. Frank Farrell is a Longford based actor and physical performer. His work extends across traditional theatre, physical-movement theatre, site specific theatre and film. He has been a regular member of The Rowan Tolley Company for the last 7 years.
